Nail polish part 2!!

On 25th May i posted with a blog on my nail polish and showed you my new shelf which was not yet full. well less than a month later i bring you the filled version!!

Ive decided to stick to certain brands, (ciate, nails inc, opi, china glaze and leighton denny) so quite a lot of other brands have been swapped on beauty box swaps (a facebook swap group)

ive been swapping and buying mad...and I got some new lovelys from America this morning which filled in the remaining spaces...

I have a big nail polish addiction at the moment,

this is my collection... I did have more but im trying to collect only certain brands at the moment so ive got rid of quite alot

 i paint my nails every few days.

You may be able to see in the pictures how short my nails used to be. Ive always used a base and top coat but they were any old brand that i picked up. After speaking to a few girls on a facebook forum about nails, they recommended a decent base and top coat to stop my nails breaking and peeling.

I got a non acetone nail remover and i got Nails inc Air street base coat and Seche vite top coat. Been using these for the past 2 mths and its amazing how strong and long my nails have got

never used one of these before so excited to try it. 

finishing product to set untidy brows, conditions at the same time. 

Will be perfect for me as i have quite thick brows

NOBLE ISLE BATH AND SHOWER GEL

another shower gel but i actually like trying new ones out, will always be in need in our home.

Has a gorgeous scent and the bottle is cute and decent sized sample 

WELEDA FACE CREAM/BODY MILK

weleda is a good brand, i dont like to use new products on my face due to allergys, but i may try on my body...its 5ml so wont last me long on the body lol

COLLECTION GEL EYELINER

i like the look of this, very cute (yes im a packaging whore), i know its not high end but i havent tried a gel eyeliner before so im happy to get this..and if i like it, at least i know its cheap to buy full size rather than being upset i cant fork out £100 for one lol

pity its brown, but will still get used

LOLITA PERFUME SAMPLES

these are really nice summer scents, i didnt have a reaction to them either which is very rare for me! 

EXTRAS

glossybox mirror, very cute and well made, doesnt feel flimsy like the Joliebox one did

and a glossybox balloon. 

My little boy is off school poorly and as soon as he say the balloon he was smiling and wacking it round the room (even though its pink he said) lol

so its a winner with my son...and its a winner with me!

so.... received all these items before in other boxes, suppose that's my fault for being greedy and subscribing to them all lol. LOVE the steamcream though and the tin is super cute, will try the balance me as i love eye creams.

the others i swapped before and i prob will do again. i like the eye shadows but i never wear them, and im rubbish at applying lashes :(

all in all its an ok box, just wish i hadn't already got everything

Glossybox April

Recieved my 2 eco glossyboxes this morning

not really into eco, bad i know but i love pretty packing haha

Here is whats in the box

the boxes are really nice, all organic

AYUURI rose body wash

Im not keen on rose smelling things but this body wash does not have an overpowering smell. I LOVE that its pink and a great size. cant wait to use this

INIKA 

i got a lip liner in safari and an eye liner in black caviar. look really good quality and perfect colours for me. these will be going straight into my handbag

CAUDALIE 

anyone who has read by blog before will know i LOVE caudalie. i havent tried this serum before so im very excited to try this...and so glad i got 2!! honestly addicted to serums right now!

YES nurse hand cream. 

Not something i will use as i hate hand creams and cant have anything that smells going near my nose else i sneeze all day. No obvious smell to this but it still irritated my nose whilst trying to get a whiff lol

KAI

perfume sample. really tiny sample. smells nice but i never use things this tiny, will prob stick it in with a swap lol.

FIGS AND ROUGE BALM

again something i wont use. dont really like lip balms, i just use gloss. they are cute though and great for people who like balms as they are handy tins

ALL IN ALL

one of the best boxes in a long time, super excited to get some caudalie and the only things i will swap are the figs and rouge and the hand cream. 

RESULT

things i will use at top, things im swapping in bottom box. all in all i paid under £20 for these 2 boxes, plus another harrods box...and the harrods box was amazing so im happy with anything they send me in that

Nail polish...latest Addiction

So. ive always loved painting my nails but ive never been one to try different brands/colours. I usually paint my nails red or black and mainly used Max factor. However due to beauty boxes ive received a few different brands and loved OPI and started buying those. Now i have a full blown addiction which has resulted in me buying/swapping 22 just this week alone.

Here's my collection at the minute. my poor storage will no longer hold them so im on the lookout for something bigger, and maybe to hang on the wall as my desk is starting to look cluttered (i HATE clutter)

I am trying to get away from reds, but as you can see i am still mainly buying reds. I also love glitter. My faves are Nicole by Opi Kourt is red-y for a pedi and China Glaze Ray-diant.

The one nail polish i NEED which is on my wish list is Ciate Jewel

Harrods Glossybox

Super excited that all 4 of my Glossyboxes came this morning!!

i got 2 with glossydots so even more exciting is that i got all these items for the price of 2 boxes.

3 were the same...

However i wouldve been happy with any of the items available this month

Heres what i got!!

OOhh the white boxes are so cute. Going to make drawers out of these today

(for some reason they wont turn round grrr)

was pleased to see the burberry lipstick and the fendi. such cute little samples. Love them. I got rosewood and its a lovely colour on me. reddy brown but quite a subtle colour. goes on quite glossy. Its a tiny sample but will prob last me ages

Ive wanted to try the Fendi for ages so i will enjoy taking this with me on nights out. ideal size!

The clarins firming cream is a nice sized sample. I love clarins and will use this on my legs i think, a bit of extra firming wont hurt. no noticeable smell which is good for me as im super allergic to most smelly body creams lol

Ojon...i know most people wanted this so it was nice to see, however i dont use hair products. Reading it, it can be used on dry hair to repair ends and stop frizz. sounds good. I have very thick long straight hair which can get frizzy so its worth a try. Just with my hair being black it usually just looks greasy when i put on serums.

Its a great little bottle with a squirty applictor

Then theres the erno samples. theres quite a few diff ones and they all look quite luxury. looking forward to trying these out

Overall super happy i got this box!! Luxury samples...exactly what i signed up for

i also got 3 of these boxes..not sure why its on its side grrr

I love the SK II cream. had a sample before and its lush. super expensive so im kinda glad i got 3 of them, will keep me goign for a few mths. Cute little tub.

More clarins which as i said before, i love...plus mothers day coming up so i may gove one of them away 

Molton brown shower gel which smells yum and i can never have too many shower gels, i love to try out new ones every bathtime. Looks cute too on the shelf

Lancome mascara. I love mini mascaras for taking in my bag on nights out. super cute and nice little wand. I can see myself buying the full size of this if i like it. Im a mascara addict!

Valentino perfume sample. Only a tiny vial. kinda upset it wasnt a mini bottle but still will be used, gorgeous scent! and i suppose i do have 3 lol

shu emuru samples. Prob wont use these. i HATE sachets...But they were the 6th item so a bonus

What's in your make up bag?

So thought i would do a fun post. I'm pretty nosey so i would love to know 

WHATS IN YOUR MAKE UP BAG?

well at the moment i am using my silver quilted clarin's make up bag. I love big make up bags like this.

• Steamcream which i apply on my arms in the morning
• Olay and max factor foundation
• benefit concealer kit
• fratboy blush
• duwop lip venom in buttercup
• jane iredale lip and cheek tint
• models own eyeliner
• smashbox full exposure mascara
• nail file
• figs and rouge lip balm
• clarins perfume vial

The only things i change are my mascara's and lipstick, depending what mood i am in, or where i am going

Make up Collection!

Since subscribing to the 'beauty boxes' i have found a few items that i LOVE

Dr Lowe Oil control being one.... i have oily skin and its very sensitive. I am also prone to breakouts.

Dr Lowe has been an amazing find, my skin doesn't react and it 99% better since using it.

There were lots of people swapping it so i took my chance to stock up...

there is the clarins creams. I love clarins. haven't got round to using much as i have now found my skin is clear, i daren't change my new regime.

NAIL VARNISH

Im abit obsessed with nail varnish at the moment. god knows why i buy it though as i paint my nails prob 1x a week and its nearly always just a plain red lol

So to the rest of the collection.


Clarin's items

Havent really used many of these lol, i use the beauty flash balm and the hand and nail cream at the moment. I hope to get round to using the rest :S

Foundations and concealers

Ive used the same foundation for 10 years (i dont mean the same compact lol, i go through one of these per month). Max factor facefinity compact in porcelain. The only thing i change is the liquid foundation i use underneath. 

The compact is a matte finish which is what i like, i use the liquid just so i get full coverage (i like to hide my freckles lol)

Max factor colour adapt in porcelain is my fave at the min, although the Olay complete care is starting to nudge it out. The Olay is great coverage, very light. It has a fresh bath/soapy smell which is quite strong so im unsure if i like that at the min or not...hmmm

The other 3 are really ones i use when im not going out anywhere or im running low on my fave foundation lol

Primers

Ive always had a bit of a love hate relationship with primers. 

I usually use them for a few days then stick them in a drawer...so when i found the Loreal studio secrets primer, i threw all my old ones in the bin and vowed to always use this one. Its really great. Lovely and fluffy lol

However i got the murad and the youngblood in recent beauty boxes and decided to give them a try.

 The elf and youngblood are pretty sinilar. im not sure i like them yet, they are pretty greasy/oily texture and feels strange when rubbing onto skin.

LIPSTICKS

I get bored of lipsticks quickly. all these have been my faves at some point lol. I tend to prefer gloss in the day and lipstick at night

Eyeshadows and blush

 i tend to use the models own or barry m dusts for night time looks 

BLUSH

Fratboy, models own, elf and loreal

i swap between the fratboy and the loreal at the moment. Im very pale and they are both great for giving a bit of colour so i dont look too much like a ghost

MASCARA

I love the max factor minis for nights out. I usually lose things when im out so thats why i collect them lol,

the boujous volume clubbing mascara is amazing, really creates dramatic thick lashes.

Im using the new cid i-flutter at the moment although ive just got the smashbox mascara from the LIB red carpet box and i think its my new fave

Eye Liners/pencils

I have no idea why i have all these eye pencils. i only use them when im going out so they are not used daily lol.

My fave ones are the models own which has a built in sharpener...handy as i always break the nib.

and the boujous waterproof clubbing volume...has a thick nib and glides on easy

LOTIONS AND POTIONS

all the other lotions and potions i have. im meaning to try all these little samples...sometime...

I use the dr lowe and the caudalie daily

 MIRACLE CREAMS

Sisley and mememe, my fave find from the beauty boxes

I love these creams. The mememe is so soft and fluffy, it reminds me of the loreal studio secrets primer.

Sisley is just a miracle cream. im glad i managed to swap a few because i would prob end up paying £245 when i run out lol, it really has tightened my skin and feels so much softer than before. as soon as i put it on i can feel it getting tighter. Alot of people dont like the feeling but i love it lol


been using the YSL serum and perricone lots too. amazing at tightening the skin


Others

STEAMCREAM!!! lol well Carmine let me down so i had to beg borrow and steal! lol well i swapped and bought. Love them though, so worth the bother. I love the tins. They have a lavendar smell which i hate, but once its on the skin it doesnt last long and leaves skin lovely and soft


Jane iredale 24 carot gold shimmer. Love these. put a little on my arms and chest on nights out


Benefit realness of concealness kit. amazing, love it!
all my fave benefit in minis. The boi ing is a great concealer and i use the ooh la la to plump under my eyes.
really works and makes a noticeable difference. use it daily


NAIL WRAPS

i love nail wraps for my toes, i havent tried on my hands as they wouldnt last 5 mins with me. they are easy to do on toes though and last weeks.

Love the Opi cuticle oil

DAILY BEAUTY PRODUCTS

These are the items i use daily. I wash with Caudalie cleansing water. then apply the 2 Caudalie creams for tightening, eye bags etc lol
then the sisley cream which really tightens my skin before i put on make up


At night i use the cleansing water and then apply dr lowe oil control


SO....there u go, thats my collection/addiction.
